Being part of the international shipping sector, which is one of the most regulated industries at the global level, MSC’s commitment to promote responsible and fair business practices adheres to and draws upon internationally recognised human rights and labour principles and standards. These include a wide range of international standards and requirements defined by maritime and labour conventions adopted at the international level by the United Nations.
MSC publishes every year a Modern Slavery Transparency Statement in line with Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
