Peak Season Surcharge – Trade From NWC & ScanBaltic to Savannah US

*** The current Price Announcement substitutes the one published on 5 October 2021 which contained some errors ***

Due to strong demand of container and consequent difficulties to supply needed equipment from Europe to US and in particular to Savannah, MSC will increase the current Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for all cargo moving from NWC and ScanBaltic to POD Savannah.

As from 1 November 2021 until further notice, the PSS will be increased as below and will apply to all dry, reefer and special equipment:

  • from current USD 2’200 to USD 3’200 per 20’
  • from current USD 2’700 to USD 3’700 per 40’

Any other elements of the price, for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged.
