After four years, The Tall Ships Races return to Antwerp from 11 to 14 July, bringing together all those who share a passion for the sea.
MSC Belgium is proud to be a main sponsor of the event which will bring an impressive fleet of historic sailing vessels back to the city’s waterfront. As a long-standing maritime hub, Antwerp has always shared a strong connection with the sea, making it a natural home for this unique international event.
During the weekend, the city will become a meeting place for people from all over the world – from crews and trainees to clients, partners and the local community. It is this combination of international connection and local involvement that makes the Tall Ships Races so special and why the event resonates strongly with MSC Belgium, reflecting both our roots and our global presence at sea and ashore.
Throughout the event, visitors stop by the MSC terrace at the food corner at Zuidplein, where they can enjoy refreshments and take in the views.
Looking ahead is equally important. As part of its support for this initiative, MSC Belgium will sponsor two young participants in the Tall Ships Races program, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on maritime experience at an early stage. During a week at sea alongside international peers, they will experience life on board a sailing vessel, develop new skills and gain a fresh perspective on the port they know from ashore. By supporting young people at the beginning of their journey, MSC Belgium is helping to inspire and invest in the future of the maritime industry.
Join us in Antwerp and experience the Tall Ships Races from up close. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this special event together! Find out more
