MSC Celebrates 20 Years of Success in Sweden

2019 marks the 20th anniversary of MSC Sweden. MSC began its operations from Gothenburg in 1999, and has since then succeeded in becoming a key player within the Swedish container shipping industry.
According to local Managing Director, Thue Petersen, MSC’s solid business position in Sweden, is a result of MSC’s core business DNA, strong local market knowledge and a personalised business approach. “We have achieved this success through the hard work, passion, and dedication of our team members as well as the loyalty of our customers. Our team of experts have dedicated themselves to 20 years of strong customer relations” states Thue Petersen.
Significant investments to our growing fleet and modern equipment, demonstrate the commitment of MSC towards our customers and partners. “MSC always provides personal service and flexibility which then allows us to find joint solutions towards our customers” explains Björn Söderbergh, Head of Trade & Carrier Management, Kuehne + Nagel Sweden. “The partnership with MSC is like being part of a large family. 300 guests including employees, clients and partners gathered together on 10 May to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Under the theme theatrical circus guests were treated to a spectacular light show and acrobatic performance followed by a live band.
