MSC team of experts were excited to return to Asia Fruit Logistica that took place 4-6 September at AsiaWorld Expo in Hong Kong.
This year the event welcomed 12,000 trade professionals from all over the world in addition to over 800 exhibitors. MSC hosted a continuous flow of visitors at our stand in addition to sharing insights into the market trends as part of a panel discussion at AsiaFruit Congress the day before.
Over 450 delegates from over 40 countries came to AsiaFruit Congress to be inspired by the trade experts sharing their visions on market trends and fresh produce business. Julio Nestar, Reefer Manager at MSC Spain participated in a panel discussion titled ‘Supplier spotlight: Spain spreads wings’ highlighting how Spanish producers are meeting the growing demand for fresh fruit in Asia.
Spain is the world’s largest producer of fruit and vegetables and while only marginal amount is being exported overseas, the Spanish growers are increasingly expanding to new markets such as Middle-East and Asia. The modern, advanced reefer technology is also an important part of this trend. Reefer technology enables longer shipments opening up new markets for our customers.
MSC has developed a strong service offering, global network and built one of the largest reefer container fleets in the world to allow our customers to reach markets near and far.
