A chemical-free way to protect your fruits from pests. This solution is particularly suited to most of the fruits like apples, plums, apricots, avocados, blueberry, among others.
Controlled Atmosphere (CA)
Process allowing for longer shelf life of products. We offer diverse technologies such as StarCool® CA, XtendFRESH®, Liventus®, Maxtend® and Purfresh®. The CA can extend the transit time for many fruits like avocados, bananas, blueberries and mangoes.
Control of the relative humidity level. All MSC operated reefer containers equipped with the humidity sensor can dehumidify.
Fresh air is required to remove heat and gases such as ethylene (C2H4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) produced by fruits. The use of vent settings allows for the intake of external air.
