Port Authorities Event In USA Provides Stage For MSC

The issues of pricing, terminal pressures and carrier / BCO relationships were just some of the significant topics discussed in a recent USA conference, at which Executive Vice President Allen Clifford represented MSC.

Attended by hundreds of senior executives in the areas of terminal operation, ports, railroads and shipping, the event was staged by the American Association of Port Authorities.

It included significant panel discussions, covering major maritime trends, with Allen Clifford as one of the key forum speakers.

Alongside him as panelists were the likes of George Goldman, President of Zim USA, and Tom Perdue, President of Ports America Stevedoring.

Allen took the opportunity to talk about the challenges which had been faced by carriers throughout 2016, and the importance of robust relationships with terminal operators and BCOs.

A number of attendees requested further information about MSC’s services, making it a particularly useful participation exercise.
