Peak Season Surcharge - Trade from EU (incl. Greece, Türkiye, East Med, North Africa) to Southern Africa

Due to strong demand on the Europe to Southern Africa market, MSC will apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) to all cargo from Europe (incl. Greece, Türkiye, East Med, North Africa) to Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa to maintain our services at the required level.
As from 02 April 2026 (B/L date) until further notice, the PSS will be charged:
• Europe (incl. Greece, Türkiye, East Med, North Africa) to South Africa: USD 125 per TEU;
• Europe (incl. Greece, Türkiye, East Med, North Africa) to Namibia: USD 150 per TEU, USD 200 per 20 Reefer and USD 400 per 40HR;
• Europe (incl. Greece, Türkiye, East Med, North Africa) to Mozambique USD 250 per TEU, USD 350 per 20 Reefer and USD 700 per 40HR.
Any other elements of the price, as indicated in the last EU Price Announcements for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged.
