As MSC commemorates 30 Years of Excellence in Singapore, we celebrate not only our growth as a team but also Singapore’s remarkable journey as a global maritime and logistics hub. Over the past three decades, MSC has been privileged to be part of Singapore’s transformation — supporting its port development, embracing innovation alongside the nation, and contributing to the maritime ecosystem that continues to drive global trade today. This provides an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come together, while looking ahead to the next chapter of collaboration, innovation, and shared progress.
In celebration of our 30 Years of Excellence milestone, MSC Asia Regional Office & MSC Singapore is pleased to invite the general public, our esteemed partners, and MSC staff (all participants must be based in Singapore) to design a commemorative container that reflects our shared heritage, values, and vision for the future.

Create a design inspired by any of the following themes
Theme 1: Our Past – 30 Years of Legacy
Celebrate Singapore’s development and MSC’s journey by incorporating:
- National landmarks
- Historical figures or notable events
- Key maritime or port milestones
- MSC’s evolution and longstanding partnership with Singapore

Judging Criteria
A panel of five (5) judges appointed by Mediterranean Shipping Co. (Switzerland) Asia Regional Office Pte Ltd (Management Team) will review all submissions and select the Top 3 designs. The judges will evaluate according to the criteria below:

Once the Top 3 designs have been selected, they will be featured on this page for public voting. The design that receives the highest number of votes will be crowned the winning design.
Judging Criteria (weighted):
- Creativity & originality: 30%
- Relevance to theme & brand fit: 30%
- Visual impact & scalability for container wrap: 30%
- Technical quality & print feasibility: 10%
Once the Top 3 designs have been selected, they will be featured on this page for public voting. The design that receives the highest number of votes will be crowned the winning design.
Guidelines for Artwork Submission
- All artwork(s) must be original and abide to the competition theme.
- Residency Requirement: Participants must be Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, or valid pass holders (e.g., Employment Pass, S Pass, Student Pass, Dependant’s Pass) residing in Singapore.
- Artwork(s) can be created in any medium (painting, drawing, photography, calligraphy etc).
- Artwork must be submitted in digital format (High-res PDF/JPG/PNG (min 300 DPI)) through the link: Submit Your Artwork
- Participants are responsible for the image(s) resolution and artwork(s) will be judged according to image quality.
- NO explicit language or offensive material allowed. MSC reserves the right to practice full discretion in refusal of any artwork deemed inappropriate or outside the competition parameters.
- Any artwork found not to be original or that infringes the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal, confidentiality or proprietary rights, will be disqualified.
- In the event of a disqualification, MSC will select an alternative winner using a similar Judging Criteria.
- All entries must be submitted before 14 August 2026, 2359 (Singapore Local Time). Submissions thereafter will not be accepted.

Rewards & Recognition: Transform Your Artwork into a Moving Masterpiece
The winning design from this contest will be transformed into a full-scale sticker decal and applied onto an actual MSC container. Launching in September 2026, this one-of-a-kind container will be showcased for 3 months and deployed in real operations across MSC’s shipping network.
