Trade Europe (North Europe, Mediterranean and Black Sea) to Saudi Arabia - Transit Cargo Acceptance

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company announces that cargo with port of discharge (POD) Jeddah and King Abdullah Port (KAP) is only acceptable for destinations within Saudi Arabia (KSA). In this respect, cargo booked with POD Jeddah or KAP must have consignee located within KSA.

CARGO FROM EUROPE TO U.A.E AND UPPER GULF

MSC continues to accept bookings to ports in United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq and Oman as POD.

Such cargo (non-prohibited*) is currently being routed via the port of KAP using MSC’s multimodal solution (land bridge) KAP to Dammam port by truck, onward with feeder to ports in United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq.

*Cargo that is prohibited to transit via KSA is acceptable with alternate routing solutions.
