MSC Enhances its Transpacific U.S. East Coast Network

MSC is dedicated to serve the evolving needs of our customers with a first-class product meeting their expectations.

As such, we are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new weekly service, the Palmetto, from Asia to U.S.  East Coast. The new service will be calling Vietnam and Yantian with direct connections, and best-in class transit times, to the U.S. South Atlantic ports of Savannah and Charleston, as well as New York. The rotation will be operated through Panama Canal on the way to the U.S.

This new service will allow us to improve the distribution of the cargo flows in our existing network and to improve the schedule reliability for our customers, among all service strings on the trade.

We are expecting to launch this new service from Asia during May, subject to compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Full details of deployment, starting date, rotation, and transit times will be communicated in due course to help you plan your future shipments accordingly.

Should you have any questions, please contact your local MSC representatives in our global network of more than 500 offices.
