Trade Asia to US East Coast - Interim Network Changes

In response to the recent changes in demand for cargo transport from Asia to the US, MSC, in cooperation with our vessel sharing partner, has decided to adjust the capacity of our network serving the Asia to US East Coast and Gulf routes.

As part of this update, MSC will suspend the Empire and Pelican services and implement changes to the service rotations, as detailed below. These changes will take effect from week 19 and remain in place as part of an interim network. MSC intends to reinstate the current network once the demand returns to normal.

America Service: (first vessel MSC DOUALA VIII 519W)
Laem Chabang – Haiphong – Vung Tau – Singapore – New York – Baltimore – Savannah – Jacksonville – Colombo –  Singapore – Laem Chabang

Amberjack Service: (first vessel ZIM MOUNT RAINIER 8E)
Yantian – Xiamen – Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan – Manzanillo – Kingston – New York – Baltimore – Savannah – Charleston – Kingston – Busan – Yantian

Emerald Service: (first vessel ZIM SPINEL 4E)
Singapore – Vung Tau – Haiphong – Yantian – Kaohsiung – Cartagena – Charleston – Savannah – Norfolk – New York – Boston – Singapore

Lone Star Service: (first vessel MSC MAPUTO 519E)
Singapore – Vung Tau – Yantian – Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan – Mobile – Houston– Tampa – Miami – Freeport –Singapore
