” Today, our automotive customers are looking for reliability, visibility, and a tangible environmental commitment. Thanks to our global network and containerised solutions, we deliver exactly that: a controlled, seamless, and sustainable supply chain. “
Vehicle Loading & Unloading
In Le Havre, we handle the stuffing and unstuffing of thousands of vehicles using specially designed racks. These racks allow up to four cars per container, with three being standard. Without racks, two vehicles or light commercial vehicles can be loaded into a 40HC container. Our teams ensure every shipment is handled safely and efficiently.
Global Network & Destination Reach
The vehicle loading and unloading process can be replicated in other French ports, supported by our extensive global network. We organise stuffing and unstuffing operations to and from any origin or destination. Whatever your needs, MSC France provides the right solution to ensure reliable and seamless vehicle transport.
Driving More Sustainable Supply Chains
As the automotive industry accelerates its transition towards greener models, MSC France supports this shift by providing logistics solutions that are efficient, flexible, and responsible. Our containerised approach represents a genuine alternative to traditional roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) transport, combining operational performance with a reduced carbon footprint:
- Optimised capacity: up to four vehicles can be loaded into a single container using our specially designed racks, reducing the total number of shipments.
- Fewer road journeys: our vast network of MSC ports, often located closer to production or distribution sites, helps to minimise road mileage.
- Lower emissions per vehicle: increased loading density and integration into intermodal supply chains (rail, barge) contribute to more sustainable logistics.
Through this approach, we offer the automotive sector reliable, agile, and environmentally responsible solutions, supporting the sustainable transformation of the entire industry.
