MSC is proud to announce that we received the HANSA Maritime Excellence Award 2025 for the first time at the HANSA Forum on 27 November 2025.
Held at the International Maritime Museum in Hamburg, Germany, the HANSA Forum is one of Europe’s leading maritime conferences. It brings together experts and decision-makers to discuss challenges and opportunities shaping the shipping industry.
Award winners are selected by the editorial board of HANSA magazine, a leading maritime publication, based on an independent assessment.
Recognizing MSC’s outstanding contributions to maritime industry
The HANSA Maritime Excellence Award recognizes individuals or companies who have made an outstanding contribution to the industry, with a focus on long-term impact.
As one of the world’s leading container shipping lines, MSC distinguished itself through its bold, forward-looking fleet investment strategy. By expanding and modernising our fleet, which now includes more than 900 vessels, we have strengthened our global network and continued to provide reliable, uninterrupted services despite challenging market conditions.
The jury also highlighted MSC Group’s investment in port operator HHLA (Hamburger Hafen und Logistik Aktiengesellschaft), supporting the future development of Germany’s largest seaport.
