EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) Update - 15 December 2025

Please find below an estimate of the expected surcharge mentioned in our 8 December customer advisory to cover increased operating costs related to changes in EU ETS emissions coverage coming into effect from 1st January 2026.
It is important to remember that the surcharge will fluctuate depending on the pricing of carbon allowances traded into the system, and we will be applying the same principles followed by the Bunker Recovery Charge (BRC).
