02/11/2026
MSC Tunisia participated in the third edition of the Médenine Investment Days, held on 27-28 October 2026 in Zarzis, reaffirming its commitment to trade and economic development in southern Tunisia. The event brought together government officials, business leaders and logistics stakeholders to explore opportunities for strengthening the region's role as a logistics gateway connecting Tunisia, Africa and the Mediterranean.
Representing MSC, Francesco Zaniboni, Managing Director of MSC Tunisia, joined a panel on international maritime connectivity and its contribution to integrating Médenine into global supply chains. He highlighted MSC's global network, integrated logistics capabilities and long-term commitment to supporting Tunisian businesses.
A key topic was MSC's recently launched regular container service through the Port of Zarzis, the first of its kind in the Governorate of Médenine. The service provides a direct connection to MSC's transshipment hub in Gioia Tauro, Italy, giving businesses in southern Tunisia faster and more competitive access to international markets.
Speaking during the event, Zaniboni emphasized the importance of reliable maritime connectivity in supporting regional growth and export competitiveness. He also outlined MSC's end-to-end logistics offering in Tunisia, including inland transport, warehousing, specialized cargo and container solutions.
The event underscored MSC's ongoing commitment to helping businesses in Tunisia expand their access to global markets through efficient and reliable logistics services.
