Congestion Surcharge - Trade from Northern Europe to Indian Subcontinent (inc. India, Pakistan Sri Lanka and Bangladesh)

Due to current market conditions and the limited capacity available to meet demand, MSC will apply a Congestion Surcharge (CGS) on the trade from Northern Europe to Indian Subcontinent (including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) in order to maintain its services at the required level.

As from 11 July 2026 (booking date) onwards, the CGS will be charged USD 500 per container until further notice.
