EBS - Cargo Export Via Nacala to Any Destination

The current challenging market situation impacting port activities, generating congestion across supply chains and equipment shortage leads to costly ad hoc inventory repositioning. MSC will implement an Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EBS) for dry cargo from Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe exported via the port of Nacala in Mozambique to any destination.

As from 18 October 2021 (shipped onboard date), until further notice, the EBS will be charged USD 300 per dry containers (20’, 40’, 40’HC).

Please note that for cargo destinated to Europe, any other elements of the price, as indicated in the last EU Price Announcements for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged.
