PSS – Trade from NWC, ScanBaltic, WMED, Adriatic, Canary to US WC

Due to strong demand of containers and consequent difficulties to supply needed equipment from Europe to US and in particular to Long Beach, Oakland and Seattle, MSC will increase the current Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for all cargo moving from NWC, ScanBaltic, West MED, Adriatic and Canary Islands to US West Coast.

As from 27 November 2021 until further notice for NWC and ScanBaltic, the PSS will be increased as below and will apply to all dry, reefer and special equipment:

  • from current USD 2’200 to USD 3’200 per 20’
  • from current USD 2’700 to USD 3’700 per 40’

As from 28 November 2021 until further notice for West MED, Adriatic and Canary Islands, the PSS will be increased as below and will apply to all dry, reefer and special equipment:

  • from current USD 2’200 to USD 3’200 per 20’
  • from current USD 2’700 to USD 3’700 per 40’

Any other elements of the price, for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged.
