MSC to Discuss Integrated Transport and Logistics Services at Multimodal West Africa in Nigeria
02/20/2019
MSC is pleased to attend Multimodal West Africa Expo, from 12-14 March 2019, in Lagos, Nigeria, to discuss our fully integrated sea and land transportation and logistics services.
Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa and since 2017, MSC is the second largest container line by volume in Nigeria being active across West Africa. MSC offers its global port coverage to shippers and consignees with MSC services calling at terminals in Lagos and Port Harcourt.
MSC has created the first proper container transshipment hub in the ECOWAS / Gulf of Guinea region through our investment in Lomé Container Terminal (LCT) in Togo. This has already translated to increasing volumes of cargo passing through the port of Lomé, which connects to markets across the West African region. This gives MSC the opportunity to use Lomé as part of a fully integrated transport and logistics service.
Following our last year’s successful participation in this event, MSC looks forward to updating our valued partners on the recent service developments: the Angola Service, offering direct calls from South Africa, and CONRO services connecting NWC to West Africa for roll-on/roll-off & project cargoes.
Our team of 12 experts are looking forward to meeting with you and discussing how our solutions can help your business, at our booth A5 at the Landmark Exhibition Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Don’t miss our Managing Director of MSC Nigeria Andrew Lynch participating as a panelist
Andrew Lynch, Managing Director of MSC Nigeria, will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Trade Facilitation: Overcoming the supply chain challenges facing businesses” at the conference, which takes on 13 March at 12.00 local time. Andrew Lynch oversees the container shipping liner agency and related commercial, operational, logistics and other activities of MSC in Nigeria. He has more than 20 years of experience in shipping in countries including the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Ghana, and moved to Lagos in 2015.
