Price Announcement - Trade from Far East to North Europe and Mediterranean (inc. West Med, East Med, Adriatic and North Africa) and Black Sea

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company announces the following new freight rates, from all Far East ports (including but not limited to ports in Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia) to Northern European and Mediterranean (including West Med, East Med, Adriatic and North Africa) and Black Sea ports, as from 15 March 2026 until further notice but not beyond 31 March 2026.

All prices are in US Dollars unless otherwise specified.

Base port to base port rates. Out-ports are subject to usual TAO/TAD.

The above rates are:

• Inclusive of the Base Rate (i.e. ocean freight rate) and following surcharges:
  • GFS (Global Fuel Surcharge): VATOS USD 54/TEU valid for March 2026.
  • ECA (Emission Control Area): VATOS USD 15/TEU for MED and NEUR (Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, UK, Netherlands and France) and VATOS USD 52/TEU to other Nordic and Baltic countries.

• Subject to:
  • CLS (Carbon Limitation Surcharge): VATOS USD 20/TEU
  • CRS (Carbon Review Surcharge): NEUR VATOS USD 78/TEU - MED VATOS USD 115/TEU

FAK excludes all IMO Category commodities and high value commodities.
