Operational Announcement – Resumption of Selected East–West Services in The Red Sea Region

Following a comprehensive review of the latest security and operational conditions in the Red Sea region, MSC has decided to partially restore Suez Canal transits on a limited number of its East–West services.
The change will apply to both westbound and eastbound voyages, commencing with the following sailings:
  • Asia – Mediterranean / Jade Service Eastbound: MSC MICHEL CAPPELLINI, Voyage GJ632E, departing Abu Kir on 24/08/2026
  • Asia – North Europe / Albatros Service Eastbound: MSC JOSEFINA, Voyage GA630E, departing Jeddah on 24/08/2026
  • India – Mediterranean / Himalaya Service Westbound: MSC BERYL, Voyage IS632A, departing Vizhinjam on 31/08/2026
  • Asia – Mediterranean / Tiger Service Westbound: MSC ANNA, Voyage GT629W, departing Singapore on 24/08/2026
  • Asia – Mediterranean / Tiger Service Eastbound: MSC TINA, Voyage GT632E, departing Mersin on 20/08/2026
Individual booking confirmations and online schedules will be updated progressively to reflect the new voyage plans.
The transition will be implemented on a service-by-service basis. MSC will continue to closely monitor developments throughout the region, in coordination with the relevant authorities and security partners. The protection of our seafarers, vessels and customers’ cargo remains our overriding priority. 
Contingency arrangements remain in place, allowing individual voyages to be adjusted should circumstances require.
