Sessions:

Marco Russo (SQLBI) - Optimizing DAX in Power BI: tools and techniques
Overview of the techniques and the tools (free and commercial) available to optimize the performance of DAX expressions in Power BI models. We will see what you can do with Performance Analyzer included in Power BI, how to extract query plans and statistical information with DAX Studio (free and open-source), and the results achievable with the DAX Optimizer service, which uses a revolutionary static analysis of the entire model.

Alberto Paruta (MSC Technology Italy) - Tabular parallel development using TFVC
We will illustrate the development process, version control strategy and CI/CD pipeline used in MSC BI for AAS Tabular models.

The main goals are to incentivize a collaborative approach, allowing multiple people to work simultaneously, and automate deployment and delivery steps.

Mattia Coluccia (MSC Technology Italy) - Dynamic Event Comparison
We will leverage a use case from the shipping industry to demonstrate a DAX pattern for events comparison. This approach allows us to single out an event and to benchmark it against a cluster of previous events with similar characteristics.
