A quick overview
MSC continuously strives to broaden the knowledge and experience of the apprentices. Once on board, they are directly involved into existing work processes, which means to learn with and from other colleagues (e.g. by attending internal workshops held by colleagues). Throughout the apprenticeship, apprentices get a better understanding of subjects they may not deal with on a day-to-day basis or topics to help comprehend certain structures.
Furthermore, apprentices have the chance to gain knowledge and experience in various departments at different MSC Germany locations, which will allow them to network and gain insight into the daily work from different perspectives.
Help and Support
As training organisation, MSC takes the duty to teach and educate very seriously. Therefore, a team of designated trainers is in charge of our apprentices to help them answer questions, deal with upcoming challenges and give perspective whenever required. Of course, also other colleagues or apprentices are always happy to help. At the apprentices meeting as well as several events that take place throughout the apprenticeship, apprentices get the chance to raise issues, discuss topics of interest as well as talk about and plan upcoming events together with the trainers.
As important as learning and growing is, it cannot be accomplished without communication. In our business, we communicate not only with our clients but also with our colleagues to create a strong bond within the company. MSC offers several opportunities and events to socialise, bond and network.
