Mr. Najim Shaikh, Vice-President Commercial Import MSC Canada (2nd from right) speaks last week at the inaugural JOC Canada Trade Forum.
MSC's Vice-President Commercial Import, Mr. Najim Shaikh, spoke last week at the JOC Canada Trade Forum about Canada's economic outlook, and what it means for shippers, carriers and service providers. Volume through Canada's ports rose 5.1% in Q1 2017, and Mr. Shaikh used the occasion to discuss the actions MSC is taking to accommodate this growth.
The inaugural event, taking place in Toronto on June 27th, provided a real-world perspective pertaining to the major challenges shippers and their transportation and logistics providers face when moving freight within Canada, and identified solutions to these challenges.
In addition to speaking, MSC was pleased to be a silver sponsor of this event, and to network with our customers and partners in Toronto. We look forward to seeing them again in 2018.
