MSC issues an annual Sustainability Report to share progress on our sustainability journey.
In our Report we include data with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Standards and in line with their reporting principles of accuracy, balance, clarity, comparability, completeness, sustainability context, timeliness and verifiability. The GRI content index helps our stakeholders navigate the disclosures and information reported in our Report. MSC’s Sustainability Report also adheres to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights Global Reporting Framework.
As an active participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), our Report forms part of our Communication on Progress to embed the UNGC’s Ten Principles into our strategies and operations, as well as our efforts to support societal priorities. This report also forms part of our commitment to the Sustainable Ocean Principles on data and transparency in relation to our ocean-related activities, impacts and dependencies.
