Anti-Corruption
The struggle against bribery in business dealings has intensified in recent years. MSC, as a leading international shipping company, takes an active role in condemning any type of corruption, whether public or private.
MSC is committed to fair business practices at all times, internally and with all our business partners.
MSC is a member of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (“MACN”) since October 2017. The MACN is a global business network working towards the vision of a maritime industry free of corruption. MACN’s objective is to promote good corporate practices in the maritime industry in order to tackle bribes, facilitation payments, and other forms of corruption. To that end, MACN members share best practices and work on raising awareness of the industry challenges related to corruption but also collaborate with stakeholders, including governments, authorities and international organizations to develop sustainable solutions. MACN’s members are leaders of maritime industry and include shipping lines, ship-owners, cargo owners and service providers involved in the maritime industry.
