MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is offering customers worldwide the opportunity to benefit from direct rail services within the important freight market of Ukraine.

After initially serving local customers in Ukraine since late 2020, MSC is now expanding the offer internationally for access to the three weekly block train services to and from the port of Odessa to Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipro for 20’ and 40’ dry containers.

MSC expects a strong uptake on these services and may consider launching additional regular block trains in Ukraine later this year.

As a global leader in transportation and logistics, MSC is constantly developing it service offering through strategic partnerships and investments in cargo-related business activities all over the world. MSC has been transporting containerised cargo to and from Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus since 2007, with two weekly sailings to/from the ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk.

Today, we offer our customers innovative door-to-door multimodal services (truck and rail), with modern equipment for exporters available from our first-class container depots in the Ukrainian hinterland. As containers are delivered to a customs bonded area, our customers can easily manage customs clearance locally.

For further details about our rail services, customers may contact their usual MSC representatives or go directly to the relevant team in Ukraine: UKR-intermodal@msc.com.
