MSC UK can provide you with an extensive range of port options across Great Britain, allowing shipment to / from your local port.
We currently serve nine primary UK ports; no other line offers this level of choice, and therefore flexibility, using its own vessels. This outstanding coverage brings the whole of the UK into easy reach, where your point of loading or discharge. Typical transit time from European hub ports to the UK regional ports is less than 48 hours, improving the efficiency of your supply chains.
UK network of ports
Our network of nine UK ports enables us to offer 24 weekly deep-sea calls covering Felixstowe, Southampton, Tilbury, London Gateway and Liverpool, with dedicated MSC feeders covering Liverpool, Tilbury, Bristol, Teesport, Grangemouth and Greenock. What’s more, we have the flexibility to tailor our vessel intake capacity to cope with fluctuations in demand while optimising vessel size to meet port capabilities.
Reducing costs, reducing carbon footprint
This connectivity and wide choice of port pairs allows our customers to load and discharge their cargo even closer to its point of origin / delivery. Therefore as an MSC UK customer you have the opportunity to:
- Save money on haulage costs.
- Reduce road congestion.
- Lower CO2 emissions.
By offering such extensive UK port coverage we’re not only increasing the speed and efficiency of each leg of your cargo’s journey, but we’re also minimising its impact upon the environment.
