What are container rental charges?
Container Rental is charged to import and export clients in case units remain in their possession after the period normally or specifically allowed to stuff or respectively strip cargo.
Container Rental is to be charged according to rules and regulations set forth on a specific port or trade route. 

What are storage charges?
A storage charge is applicable, after the free time expires, for containers left inside the rail ramp or container yard (for the use of the land).

SOLAS VGM information

VGM Receiving Policy in Lithuania 
 
What is VGM? 
Verified Gross Mass or VGM refers to the exact, verified weight of a packed container. For safety reasons, vessel operators can only load a container if its weight has been verified. 
   
How can I submit my VGM instructions? 
· myMSC (Free of Charge)  
· EDI (via INTTRA)  service charges might apply
· Manually (via INTTRA) service charges might apply
· Email: contact local representatives to find out terms for special needs. Manual submission fee will apply 
  
MSC admin fees and costs  
· Manual VGM Submission Fees applies as per valid tariff 
· Late VGM Submission Fees might apply in case of missed cut off 
· VGM Misdeclaration/Overweight Fees might be imposed in case of misdeclaration or failure to declare proper VGM

  • Certain weapons, as well as,weapons of mass destroy
  • Media with immoral or seditious content, such as child pornography
  • Goods prohibited in the scope of economic sanctions,
  • Narcotics and psychotropic materials
  • Items infringing trade and copyright regulations

Container Weighing (VGM)

All MSC local offices provide certified scales to record and verify container weight (verified gross mass or VGM) in line with Safety of Lives at Sea (SOLAS) regulations. VGM instructions are mandatory for all shipments for safety reasons and vessel operators can only load a container if its weight has been appropriately verified.
