LOCAL OFFICES INFORMATION

All cargo in/out Angola must be correctly manifested to Local authorities, to avoid penalties from local customs- AGT.

Local currency is Kwanza, USD is the base On daily exchange rate.
Angola is equipper with 5 ports, but MSC is serving only Luanda, Lobito and Namibe… Sogester is the Terminal operated by MSC in Luanda.
Import rep 90% and export 10% of all shipment volume in*/out country.
Hazardous and others special cargo must be approved prior acceptance from Loading Port.
Angola Capital is Luanda, and the main Port of the country is also Luanda with 11.5m draft and 300m LOA.
VGM mandatory – 48 hours prior Loading.

MSC's cargo handling facilities are strategically located to ensure the efficient and timely loading of goods for export and import. We also provide cargo consolidation, loading and re-loading, packing, unpacking and cross-loading services from containers to trucks.
