The unusual sight of two 13,000 TEU MSC vessels unloading simultaneously in Chile, was caught on camera last week.
These images show MSC Flavia and MSC Faustina being unloaded in San Antonio, just after sunrise.
It is understood to be the first occasion that quite such a visual spectacle of two major vessels being discharged at the same time has been seen in the South America West Coast (WCSA).
Eyewitnesses were treated to the stunning vision of two vessels of almost 370 meters approaching the harbor, and then watching the berthing of both MSC ships.
MSC FLAVIA has a 12,991 TEU capacity, while MSC FAUSTINA has a similar capacity, of 12,560 TEU. Both vessels were built in 2011.
