At MSC, we passionately believe that the path to sustainable shipping involves commitment, innovation, dialogue, advocacy, and investment. That’s why we keep investing in our fleet and in the latest technologies to protect the oceans and the environment, and, why we support Team Malizia's quest to gather scientific data from ocean racing under the leadership of the inspirational Boris Herrmann. A special onboard laboratory was installed onboard to measure CO2, temperature, salinity and pressure in the ocean helping scientist to understand the impact of climate change on the ocean.

Due to its unparalleled nautical heritage, MSC has a long-standing commitment to protecting the ocean. Partnerships are vital in achieving a more sustainable future and besides working closely together with industry peers, MSC has ensured that customers can embark on this journey by offering them the option to fully compensate the unavoidable carbon emissions caused by the transport of their cargo helping bridge the gap between shipping today and the zero-carbon future we all aspire to.
