Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) wishes to advise clients that the Maersk Brani 703S has been unable to continue her current Southbound voyage and will undergo repairs in Manzanillo, Panama (MIT).
All import cargo on board has been discharged at MIT on 29th January.
The Northbound vessel Olga Maersk 648N, will now turn at MIT.
All export cargo loaded from Australia and New Zealand on the Olga Maersk will discharge at MIT. All import cargo discharged from the Maersk Brani will be transferred to the Olga Maersk, before continuing the Southbound voyage as Olga Maersk 706S.
All northbound cargo discharged at MIT from the Olga Maersk will be loaded on a replacement vessel for delivery to Philadelphia or Charleston. Cargo that was transiting through Cristobal, Panama has already been completed. The vessel details and schedule of this Northbound sailing is still to be confirmed by vessel operators.
Furthermore, the Maersk Brani upon completion of repairs will slot into the schedule where the Olga Maersk would have been originally. This sailing will be as Maersk Brani 713S/N.
