The newly announced Australia Express Service will offer a direct service from Australia to EU ports: Piraeus, Valencia, Fos-Sur-Mer, La Spezia, and Naples.
To comply with the EU Customs regulations, MSCA will be required to submit the manifests 24 hours prior to loading in Australia for both direct discharge cargo and all cargo transhipping in the above mentioned EU ports.
Forwarding Instruction Deadline
All forwarding instructions are required to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 48 working hours prior to vessel arrival at each port in Australia (excluding weekends and public holidays).This is to ensure adequate time to process your forwarding instructions and submit accurate and timely manifest data to EU Customs.

Mandatory requirements for Forwarding Instruction
Complete street address including zip or postal code for shipper, consignee and notify party.
Minimum 4 digit harmonized code.
Correct weight, commodity and package declaration.
Cargo description must be specific. (Example: “Parts” is not accepted; “Motorcycle parts” is acceptable).
As the penalties are severe for breaching EU Customs, MSCA will not load any cargo unless forwarding instruction is received and processed prior to the documentation deadline. Failure to meet the documentation deadline will incur costs and rolling of containers at shipper’s account.
