Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, 1992

The curiously named U.K. Bills of Lading Act. It is a statute which covers bills of lading, sea waybills, ship's delivery orders and, in the future, electronic documents. It replaced the U.K. Bills of Lading Act, 1855, and came into force September 16th, 1992.'
