Paper analysis by XRF
Additives, substances added in or onto paper products to improve their performance, or to enhance their attractiveness or value, are critical to the paper making process. X-ray fluorescence (XRF), a standard technique across the paper industry, is used to determine oxide concentrations, coating thickness & composition, and other important paper chemistries.
