X-ray fluorescence technology provides one of the simplest, most accurate and most economic analytical methods for the determination of the chemical composition of many types of materials. It is non-destructive and reliable, requires no, or very little, sample preparation and is suitable for solid, liquid and powdered samples. It can be used for a wide range of elements, from beryllium (4) to uranium (92), and provides detection limits at the ppm level; it can also precisely measure concentrations of up to 100%.

Mineral-Pak is the application package developed by Rigaku Americas for academic research, industrial processes and environmental remediation projects. It runs on the high-performance, tube-above wavelength dispersive XRF spectrometer ZSX Primus II and the benchtop Supermini.

Using Mineral-Pak ensures the accurate and precise measurements of your unknowns and makes geochemical analysis a routine daily task. It is based on wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence and performs trace analysis directly on solid samples. No hazardous chemicals oracid digestion are required. Sample preparation is simple, safe and can be carried out by non-technical users. 

Mineral-Pak comes factory-engineer installed and is simple yet elegant in its operation: prepare the sample, set up the analysis request and get excellent results. All matrix and line overlap corrections are done automatically during the data reduction cycle on completion of the analysis.
