Software Engineer
Rigaku Automation, Inc., a subsidiary of Rigaku Americas Corporation, located in Carlsbad, CA, is a world leader in robotic automation in the structural biology market. We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop new features, bug fixes, and provide resolution on critical software issues. Will work closely with Applications, Service, and Engineering groups to reproduce problems and develop solutions.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science
- 4+ yrs. experience including VB.Net or C#.Net, Visual Basic, and Databases a must
- Experience with robotics and instrumentation is desired as our software controls and interfaces with automated liquid handling and imaging robots.
- Experience in biotech industry a plus

Sales and Marketing Manager (Prague)
Rigaku Innovative Technologies Europe in Prague (RITE) is a part of Rigaku Corporation Group
RITE is responsible for sales and support within the Czech and Slovakian market of all Rigaku X-ray products in material science and quality control. In addition, RITE is developing, producing and marketing special optical components and cameras. New opportunities in emerging markets like solar energy, biotechnologies and nanotechnologies are asking for strengthening our team. Since our opening in Prague almost two years ago we have achieved excellent growth. Our international team of experts is happy to provide excellent services to our customers. To strengthen our team we offer a full time position for a Sales and Marketing Manager.
Your duties are:
- Turning leads into accountable business
- Applying and developing marketing and sales concepts for Rigaku products and services in RITE's territory
- Visiting leads and customers and presenting Rigaku's innovative solutions
- Attending scientific conferences and shows
- Preparation of sales/marketing literature including quotations and other documentation
Your Profile:
- Degree in natural science (chemistry, physics etc.) or experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager in the analytical X-ray market
- Fluent in English and Czech/Slovak languages
- Skills for working in a team with multi -national culture

Sales Engineer - Rigaku Europe - Life Sciences Division
As a result of our expanding business, we are recruiting an additional Sales Engineer for our European Life Sciences Division.

Role - Rigaku Europe based in Sevenoaks UK is looking for a motivated team player to join our sales team. The position involves the promoting and selling of products related to X-ray diffraction of proteins and robotic equipment used for the crystallisation of proteins.
Education and Experience - Candidates must have experience with either X-ray crystallography or technical sales processes.
Job Requirements - Must be knowledgeable in the technical sales process with sufficient sales tactics to effectively communicate the merits of Rigaku instruments versus competitors to our existing and prospective customers. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, work independently, and be self-motivated. Computer literacy is required. Must be prepared, and be able, to travel without restriction both within and outside the EU.
Location - Applications are invited from candidates based both within the UK and continental Europe. Fluent English is required but does not necessarily need to be your first language.

Rigaku is planning to establish a "Center of Excellence" for EDXRF analyzers within the global Rigaku organization.
Rigaku has selected central Texas as the location of this activity because of its rich history as the EDXRF development and manufacturing capital of USA.
We have approximately 20 positions to be filled in the areas of production, R&D, customer service, sales & marketing, applications, logistics, and finance. Ideal candidates should have proven skills and a track record of success in the analytical instrument industry.
Education and Experience
R&D and application scientist should have advanced degrees in the physical sciences or engineering, in addition to 10+ years of EDXRF experience. Production, logistics, and customer service applicants should have 5+ years of experience in the analytical instrument industry. Sales and marketing applicants should have 5+ years of experience in the analytical x-ray industry.

Mid-Atlantic regional sales representative
Rigaku is at the forefront of analytical and industrial x-ray instrumentation technology. With hundreds of major innovations to its credit, Rigaku and its subsidiary companies are world leaders in the fields of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry.
The successful applicant will be responsible for capital equipment sales of Rigaku XRD, XRF, Protein and Small Molecule X-ray Crystallography, and Protein Crystallization Automation systems in the Mid-Atlantic territory of the United States.
The ideal candidate should have proven skills and a track record of success in technical sales. Strong knowledge relating to the field of X-ray instrumentation is desired.
Job Requirements
Must be knowledgeable in the technical sales process with sufficient sales tactics to effectively communicate and sell the merits of Rigaku instruments versus competitors to our existing and prospective customers. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, work independently, and be self-motivated. Computer literacy is required with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs as well as Lotus Notes CRM database. Travel within territory and travel outside of territory for trade shows and product demonstrations up to 50-70% of time.
Education and Experience
A Bachelors degree in the Physical Sciences or Engineering is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years sales experience in the analytical equipment industry.
